The vacutainer blood collection needle is mainly used for the safe collection of clinical blood samples. Its design integrates ergonomics, biosafety protection and precise blood collection technology. By cooperating with vacuum blood collection tubes, it realizes a fully enclosed blood collection process and is widely used in hospitals, physical examination centers, laboratories and other scenarios.
Features:
One end is a puncture needle (in contact with the blood vessel), the other end is a rubber puncture needle (inserted into the rubber stopper of the blood collection tube), and the middle is connected by a flexible hose. It is suitable for routine venous blood collection and is compatible with continuous multi-tube collection.
2. It is equipped with an activatable lock device, which locks the needle after blood collection to prevent reuse or accidental puncture. It is suitable for all clinical blood collection scenarios, especially for infectious samples
3. Portable blood collection kit (including safety lock needle + miniature blood collection tube), supports rapid blood collection by a single person with a single tube, reducing the risk of cross-infection.
4. The needle tip is sharp and smooth, and has undergone siliconization treatment, aiming to minimize the pain and tissue damage during puncture.
5. The other end is shorter and is usually wrapped by a soft Rubber Sleeve. This rubber sleeve can quickly retract and cover the needle tip again when the blood collection tube is replaced, preventing blood from flowing out of the needle socket. Thus, it enables multi-tube blood collection through a single venipuncture without leakage or contamination.
6. Needlestick injuries are the main way for medical staff to be occupally exposed to blood-borne pathogens (such as HBV, HCV, and HIV), and the popularity of safe blood collection needles has greatly protected the health of medical staff.
