The blood Tube with the blue top of the Sodium Citrate Tube is specially designed with a double wall. The inner tube is made of PP to prevent the evaporation of the liquid. The outer tube is made of PET to ensure a long shelf life of the vacuum. It is made of PP(polypropylene) and PET(polyethylene terephthalate). Due to the non-reactive nature of PP, it is highly suitable for sensitive coagulation parameters.

Features:
1.Sodium citrate is used as an anticoagulant. It prevents blood from clotting by chelating calcium ions in the blood. It was filled with a buffered sodium citrate solution with a concentration of 0.109 moles per liter (3.296).
2.The ratio of blood to additives is 9:1. The ratio of blood to anticoagulant is crucial for effective prothrombin time results.
3. Immediately after blood drawing, gently invert the test tube 3 to 4 times to activate sufficient anticoagulant.
4. Centrifugation: Centrifuge at 2000-2500g for 10-15 minutes at 18-25 ° C.
5. All tubes are supplied in 1,000 or 1,200 pieces per box.
6. It is particularly suitable for coagulation function tests, such as prothrombin time (PT), activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT), thrombin time (TT), etc.
7. The pre-installed sodium citrate anticoagulant in the tube can precisely maintain the activity of coagulation factors in the blood sample, making it the core consumable for tests such as the coagulation panel and thromboelastography.
8. The collected samples can be stably stored at room temperature for 2-4 hours. If placed in a refrigerated environment at 2-8℃, the activity of coagulation factors can be maintained for up to 24 hours, meeting the testing needs of outpatient, emergency, and batch samples.
9. The anticoagulant effect of sodium citrate is reversible. During the coagulation experiment, additional calcium ions can be added to restart the coagulation process.
