Features:
1.Tiny silica particles act as coagulants to accelerate the blood coagulation process, thereby facilitating the subsequent centrifugal separation step to obtain pure serum samples.
2. The tube also contains inert separation gel, which can form a stable boundary layer between the serum and blood cells after centrifugation, preventing intracellular components from being released into the serum and affecting the test results
3.Centrifugation: 1800-2200g for 8-15 minutes at 18-25°c.
4. The collected samples should be left to stand at room temperature for a period of time (30 minutes) until the blood is completely coagulated before centrifugation to ensure the effect of serum separation.
5.After blood collection, the blood collection tube should be gently inverted 5 to 6 times immediately to ensure that the coagulant is fully mixed with the blood and promote blood coagulation. However, violent shaking should be avoided to prevent hemolysis.
